The Big Smoke (but no fire)
I'm not doing a particularly good job at maintaining a blog, am I? The holidays have passed and after a mild period of relative inactivity things are getting pretty hectic.
I spent most of last week being trained in the Art of Hadoop. Unfortunately this involved an 0530 train, staggering amounts of coffee, 3 fire alarms in as many days and spending my evenings alone in a not-so-cheap hotel room. At least I get a shiny certificate out of it. Or at least a PDF. Which they haven't sent yet.
